Kerala govt unveils a unique ‘Hello! Kerala Police’ scheme
Here is good news for police personnel of Kerala.
The government of Kerala has come up with a unique scheme named as 'Hello Kerala Police' meant exclusive for the state police.
With the main purpose to perk up the response time and connectivity, Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan on Wednesday unveiled 'Hello Kerala Police' to provide mobile phone connections to all the members of Kerala police.
Under the scheme, over 15,000 state police personnel will be able to make calls among themselves free of cost.
Moreover, each member of this scheme will be able to make free calls on his two personal numbers.
However, the Police Department will not provide the handsets to the beneficiaries of this scheme.
The government owned, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will offer this service to the state police.
