PCB bans six players for misconduct

PCB bans six players for misconduct The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned six Pakistan players including left arm fast bowler Sohail Tanvir for misbehavior with umpires and ball-tampering charges. Ahmed Shahzed, Sohail Khan, Javed Qadeer and Nadeem Sheikh are among the six players who have been banned by PCB.

These six players have been banned from playing at the Karachi Gymkhana ground after the ground umpires, Riazuddin and Junaid Ghafoor charged them with ball-tampering and misbehavior during a match in the Ramadan festival Twenty20 tournament.

PCB officials informed that PCB has banned six players after they were found guilty for ball-tampering and abusing umpires on the ground during quarterfinal match of the KG Ramazan festival on Tuesday.

Test umpire Riazuddin said that the players used abusive language in the match, which forced them to report it to the PCB.

Meanwhile, Tanvir, who has been out of the Pakistan squad due to poor form and fitness problems, said that he is practicing hard to improve as an all-rounder so that he could make his place in the Pakistan squad for the upcoming tours of Australia and England.
