Motorola Rolls Out ‘MotoYuva W230’ In Indian Market
Motorola has rolled out mobile music phone ‘Motoyuva W230’ in the Indian market.
The next iteration of its flagship MotoYuva series, the W230 provides onboard MP3 player, stereo FM radio and speedy access to music control with dedicated music keys.
The newly launched phone is embedded with superior features as compared to its predecessor, the MotoYuva W180.
While lecturing on the campaign, Lloyd Mathias, Director-Marketing, Motorola, said, “The brief we gave to O&M was to establish this phone as the best music-enabled player phone. This phone has got all the features that a youngster wants in his phone.”
The company said that the MotoYuva W230 comes with up to 2GB expandable memory that can store up to 500 songs without any difficulty.
The W230 weigs just 83 g, and has the potential to harmonize with Windows Media Player Version 11 and later to allow transfer of MP3 audio files from a PC to the cell phone.
Abhijit Avasthi, Creative Director, O&M, said, “The brief we got from Motorola was to push the music proposition. We want to position it as an entry level music phone. The message behind this TVC is ‘Ab apni suno’.”
GPRS-enabled W230 also has the flowing features including currency converter, calculator, and calendar with event reminder. Besides, it also has Hinglish Predictive Text, Indian ring tones, and wallpapers, among various other traits.
Its integrated CrystalTalk technology lets users to enjoy clear sound even in noisy environments. It also consists of a friendly messaging technology; up to 550 minutes talk time and 450 hours standby time, and phone book memory for storing up to 500 names and 500 SMS.
Priced at Rs 3,050, the new MotoYuva W230 is available at all Motostores and retailers.
