Polaris Software, a global IT solutions provider focusing on the banking, financial services and insurance verticals, has tied its knot with Vietnam-based Saigon Hanoi Bank for offering Intellect 10.0 Universal Banking platform.

Under the arrangement, Polaris would deploy a complete universal banking system comprising of core, lending, trade, treasury and Portal functionalities of Intellect 10.0 at Saigon Hanoi Bank.

It should be noted that "Global Universal Banking - Intellect 10.0 platform is an 'industrial strength' banking platform encapsulating two decades of learning and working with the leaders in the Banking and Financial Services industry. The product offers the best price-to-performance proposition to banks and financial institutions.

Earlier in 2007, Polaris Software had signed a similar deal with Vietnam's state-owned bank Mekong Housing Bank for offering Intellect 787 Global Banking platform. The scrip of Polaris Software closed on Monday at Rs 73 on BSE, down 3% compared to previous close of Rs 75. The counter has made 52-week high and low of Rs 114 and Rs 26.
