The recent blasts in Pune seem to have terrorized a lot of people, not only in Pune but across the country. India is slated to host a lot of sporting events this year and during the year to follow.

The events include the Hockey World Championship, the third version of the ever controversial IPL, the Commonwealth games later this year in New Delhi and the 2011's cricket world cup. There have been reports of threats to all these sporting events from the Pakistan-based jihad group.

The Indian government, on Monday said that though there have been news of terror threats in the country but there is no 'credible threat' to any such meet in the country. Indian government is already tang maximum precaution to ensure a foolproof security. Union home secretary G. K Pillai said that every visitor, whether it be a visitor, or a participant all will be provided full security.

There had been a report in the Australian newspaper that the Commonwealth Security had been leaked, but the Union Minister has rubbished any such kind of incident and said that the reports were still a Top Secret.
