New twist in death of Sadiq Batcha
The death case of Sadiq Batcha had taken a new twist. He was an assistant of former Telecom Minister A Raja who is a main culprit of the 2G spectrum scam. A doctor who conducted the post-mortem has assumed that his death was caused due to asphyxia and his body showed mass of the neck with hanging mark.
The autopsy was conducted at the Government Royapettah Hospital. Dr V Dekal, one of the doctors of the hospital has said that now they are unable to say whether it was a suicide or murder. This can be known when the report of post-mortem will be out. It is expected that the report will be ready within 14days.
He has told the reporters that the death was caused due to asphyxia but the actual cause of the death is yet to come. It can be confirmed only after getting the forensic report. He has added that the total autopsy was video- graphed.
He guessed that the death is caused due to due to asphyxia. Asphyxia is caused when there is deficiency of oxygen in the tissue. The person feels uneasy and compression of the neck is caused which leads to the death of the person. The same has happened with Sadiq. So this could be the reason of death.
