New Jersey woman denies Bruce Springsteen affair
New York, April 11 : A New Jersey woman, in the middle of a divorce, has dismissed claims of her alleged romance with Bruce Springsteen.
The veteran rocker was dubbed as the other man in the petition, filed on the ground of adultery in a New Jersey court.
Ann Kelly's husband Arthur had alleged in the papers filed on March 27 that Springsteen was having a long affair with his wife of 17 years.
The mum-of-two has now denied the allegations through her attorney Noel Tonneman, saying she found about the accusation from the media.
"All she wants everyone to know is that she''s denying all this," the New York Daily News quoted Tonneman as saying.
He added: "We plan to file on Monday an application to seal these records so this media circus ends. It''s a shame their children had to find out about the divorce this way."
Ann's father, a local divorce lawyer called Stephen Carton, said his daughter and the married singer were just on a "talking relationship" and knew each other from the gym.
Meanwhile, 59-year-old Springsteen has also denied cheating on his wife Patti Scialfa.
His rep said that the rocker stood by a statement he released in August 2006 - when reports surfaced that he was involved in another alleged affair - which says his marriage "remains as strong as the day we were married". (ANI)
