Nepali Congress meeting ends inconclusively

Kathmandu, July 26: The meeting of the Central Working Committee (CWC) of the Nepali Congress (NC) to discuss the party’s earlier strategies ended inconclusively here today.

During the meeting, most of the leaders criticised the CPN- Maoist for forwarding preconditions to form the next government.

They stressed on continuing the alliance with the CPN- UML and the Madhesi Peoples Rights Forum (MPRF).

The CWC meeting also discussed the party’s role in the future government.

Nepali Congress leader Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat informed most of the leaders were of the view to forge consensus with other political parties as well.

The meeting is due to take place on Monday, Kantipur quoted Mahat, as saying. (ANI)
