Musharraf planning return to Pakistan politics
Former Pakistani President General Parvez Musharraf has accepted that he is now planning for his return to politics again. He has also added that he had not decided yet whether he will go for President Post or Prime Minister Post.
He has revealed that it is too early to comment on the possible time of his return to the country.
Due to security reasons he has denied to comment on this. But he has confirmed that he would be there before the mid-term election in Pakistan.
Pakistani officials have said that Musharraf has applied for the registration of a new political party. A recent UN report had criticized Mr. Musharraf for his government not able to stop the killing of ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto in 2007.
But Musharraf said in his clarification that he had warned her about the threat and stopped her from going to the venue but she did not listen to him and went there. There was a bomb blast at the time Bhutto returned to Pakistan. There were several threats but at last she was killed in election campaign rally.
