Murray wants to now pass his driving test and get another dog
London, Nov. 20 : British tennis star Andy Murray and his family have had an unforgettable 2008, but his future targets seem to be more mundane.
According to The Sun, Murray may be ranked as the fourth best tennis player in the world, but what he now desperately wants is to pass his driving test and to get another dog.
When asked what his major ambitions were, Murray said: “To get another dog. I was walking the dog in Wimbledon Common the other day and this guy said my results have improved since I got my first dog - maybe there is something in that. I also want to pass my driving test.”
His brother, Jamie, who reached the US Open mixed doubles final this year, said: “If I could drive by the end of 2009 that would be big news. I reckon me and Andy should have a bet to see who can pass the test first. The loser has to buy the winner a car. Mind you, Andy would go down the Skoda garage if I won.”
When asked what their biggest disappointments were in the year, Andy said his loss in Australia to Tsonga, while Jamie was more philosophical, saying that he would have liked the results at the Beijing Olympics to be different. (ANI)
