Motorola Unveils Three New ‘ROKR’ Phones
Technology giant Motorola has rolled out three GSM handsets in the ‘ROKR’ category, named ROKR EM 30, ROKR EM 28 and ROKR EM 25, to offer music loving consumers an easy access to their desired music on the move, anywhere.
Of the 3 newly launched models, the ROKR EM30 is the most high-end model of the trio, which comes equipped with innovative ModeShift technology, where blue keys highlight phone functions and red keys show music player features.
Apart from this, the phone also features 2 megapixel camera and 8x zoom, built-in speakers, 8GB microSD card, RDS FM radio, 3.5 mm headset jack and supports quad-band GPRS/Edge networks.
The phone has a variety of special features including text-to-speech technology, an airplane mode, Moto's CrystalTalk feature, a speakerphone, mass USB storage, and compatibility with Windows Media Player 11.
For flip phone fans or callers, the company has launched Rockr EM28 in two triband versions (GSM 850/1800/1900 and GSM 900/1800/1900) that support GPRS and EDGE networks.
The phone comes packed with music player that offers 3D sound effects, spatial audio with bass boost, and an equalizer. Along with this, the phone also supports FM radio, a 1.3-megapixel camera, text and multimedia messaging, Moto's CrystalTalk feature, an airplane mode, external music controls, full Bluetooth, USB mass storage, a memory card slot, and a speakerphone.
The new ROKR EM25 phone is physically strong device with drag and drop facilities. To entertain users, the phone offers a genuine music player experience which includes immediate access to a stored music library and built-in FM radio.
The phone is outfitted with a dedicated music key that allow customers to simply access stored music and familiar music controls to play, pause, forward and rewind songs.
To draw customers, the new EM25 also supports FMShare that allow users to share a favorite station with friends by sending it in a text message and SONGID technology to identify a song while out and about.
The phone includes speakerphone, a 3.5mm headset jack, a microSD card slot, a 1.3-megapixel camera, an FM radio, full Bluetooth, USB mass storage, and Moto's CrystalTalk feature. The phone supports two bands (GSM 850/1900 and GSM 900/1800) with data speeds maxing out at GPRS.
The EM30 will go on sale first in Taiwan for an undisclosed price. It will expand to other markets later in the year along with the EM28 and EM25.
