M&M targets double-digit growth in two-wheelers
After the Mahindra Group made its way into the two-wheeler sector by acquiring the assets of the beleaguered Kinetic Motors, the company has been able to thrive on a decent pace in the Indian market.
In fact, with products like Rodeo, Flyte and Duro already running on the Indian roads, the company is aiming for a double-digit growth in the two-wheelers segment in the coming two years.
M&M's two-wheeler president Anoop Mathur recently said that the company is confident of a double-digit for a couple of years to come. Moreover, Mathur further mentioned that the company will look at various options for faster growth in the industry. The company is also looking at inorganic growth opportunities to grow at a faster pace in the future.
In fact, the company is also aiming to launch its motorcycles under the Mahindra badge soon in the Indian market. Currently standing with an 8% share in the Indian scooters market, the company is aiming for a phenomenal rise in the current year. Notably, the company currently has a pan-India dealership network of around 350 dealers which the company is planning to take up to 400 at the end of the current year.
