A new study has found that men usually don’t trust women with glamorous look. According to the study, women with glam look succeed in drawing attention of men, but they don’t succeed in winning men’s trust. The study also found that women trust men who are well groomed.

Debate has started on the social media on the findings of the study. Users, who think that posting their hottest photos on their social media accounts is an appropriate way to get suitable dating partners, are taking the study into consideration. According to them, it is because hot pictures make other people think that they can trust the person.

According to reports, the study was conducted on how people judge others on their social media pictures in dating sites. Researchers, who conducted the study, carried out the entire process of people’s thinking about profile pictures in dating sites at the University of Connecticut. While conducting the study, the researchers showed four different pictures of a same man and a woman to more than 650 participants.

As per the researchers, they found that men, who participated in the study, showed less interest to women with edited photos. Such photos were with high quality of lightning and makeup. The researchers came to know that women in the study believed that men with edited pictures are more trustworthy.

The participants in the study were first year students of communications. The age of participants ranged from about 17 to 36 years. As per the researchers, showing just a single photo eliminate the chances of relative attractiveness.

The findings of the study are supposed to be presented by the researchers at the annual conference of the International Communication Association later this month.
