Maserati showcases new GranCabrio Sport
Maserati has showcased its new GranCabrio convertible Sport, which was revealed earlier this year in New York.
The model will come with a 4.7-liter V8 engine offering 450 hp from the GranTurismo MC Stradale. The model features a six-speed automatic with MC Auto Shift mode and will offer improved fuel economy. The users will now also have the choice of Rosso Trionfale color, which draws its inspiration from Maserati race cars from the 1950s.
The model comes with refreshed styling and suspension, which makes it similar to other S models, the GranTurismo S and Quattroporte Sport GT S. The new dedicated launch control mode in the car will allow users to speed from 0 to 62mph in 5.2 seconds and attain a top speed of 177mph.
The Maserati’s Skyhook active suspension system and acceleration sensors that allow the set-up to register wheel and chassis movement and also enable central computer to analyse the road conditions and regulates the dampers to suit, allows a user to have a superior driving experience.
The GranCabrio Sport will be priced at around £102,625.
