Maserati’s GranCabrio Sport to cost £102,615
Maserati’s new convertible car, the GranCabrio Sport, which was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March, will come with a starting price of £102,615 in the UK market.
The first unit of the model will be delivered to the UK buyers in October. The model sits along the GranTurismo S and the Quattroporte Sport GT S as the flagship model sin their respective ranges. The company described the model as ‘a harder-edged GranCabrio’.
The GranCabrio Sport comes with an upgraded 4.7-litre V8 engine with a power increase to 331kW. Te model has faster Auto Shift transmission and better fuel economy. It takes just 5.2 seconds to speed from 0-100km/h and can reach a top speed of 285km/h.
The six-speed ZF auto transmission in the model includes faster gear-shifting software. While other changes include more sports-orientated feel to the Skyhook active suspension as well as grooved and drilled cast brake discs.
The model will come with a black grille with red Trident badge and feature a new rich metallic red body colour called Rosso Trionfale, which is believed to be inspired by 1950’s racing Maseratis.
In the interiors, the car features new seat designs, longer gearshift paddles, drilled aluminium pedals and a choice of two new leather shades.
