Maserati’s UK unit has announced the launch of a new sports pack for Gran Turismo S Automatic, which is the best selling model in the UK.

The Sports Package features the MC Auto Shift software and an upgraded exhaust system, which has open bypass valves offering enhanced exhaust note. The pack also has visual enhancements including body colored side skirts and front winglets, a new black grille with a red highlighted Maserati logo, black look headlights, black mesh side grilles, oval shaped exhaust pipes and an integrated boot lid spoiler. The pack also includes sleek alloy wheels designed by Grigio Mercury Neptune.

The Gran Turismo S Automatic comes with a 4.7 liter V8 engine producing 440 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and a maximum of 490 Nm torque at 4,750 rpm. The car nca speed from 0 to 62 mph in 5 seconds and has a top speed of
183 mph. the pack will enhance the power with the new 6-speed automatic gearbox and also offers fuel economy.

The company said that the new sport pack will enhance the Gran Turismo S Automatic to deliver a performance oriented experience without compromising on the ease and convenience of the ZF automatic transmission.

The Sports Package is priced separately at £3,840 and a new Maserati Gran Turismo S Automatic with sports pack will be priced at £92,480.
