Maruti Blames Political Issues of Disturbing the Working

Maruti Blames Political Issues of Disturbing the WorkingMaruti Suzuki manufacturers are criticizing politicians for jeopardizing its future at Manesar plant. The company has claimed that all the turmoil taking place at its plant is just because of the political interference rather than labor dispute.

Since the end of August, there has been continuous unrest among the labors. On 29th of August, the company’s administrators urged employees to sign a “good behavior bond”. It was hoped by the company that if the labor signs that bond then they won’t be able hold strike further.

Till now, about 63 workers have showed interest in signing the bond. But still, there are more than 800 workers who are required to sign the bond. Because of the continuous strike by the workers, the company was forced to halt the production of its Swift. Moreover, they also stopped receiving bookings from overseas.

On the 30th Annual General Meeting of the Maruti Suzuki India (MSI), the Chairman openly pointed out that the political issues have jeopardized the profits of the company. He said, “We do not intend to compromise on that. We have been talking to the workers and we have made it clear to them that we will not compromise”.
