Actor R. Madhavan is happy that his thriller "13B" will be screened during the 12th Shanghai International Film Festival.

The festival will commence from 13 June.

An elated Madhavan said, "I am going to Shanghai together with the film's debutant director for the screening of the film."

The Tamil version of "13B", called "Yavarum Nalam", also turned out to be a hit.

The actor added, "Even the Tamil version of the film released simultaneously is a big success in Tamil Nadu. It is still running in many centres. I am happy that the film will be viewed by the international audience in this prestigious film festival of Asia."

"13B" revolves around a TV set that creates disaster in the life of the actor by showing on screen real events, which are going to happen to his family.

The film also stars Neetu Chandra.

Emphasizing that the triumph of "13B" belongs to every person who had worked on 13B, and the actor hoped the Shanghai festival would result in more international recognition coming its way.

The 9-day Shanghai festival, to be held June 13-21, has a broad theme of thrillers and suspense movies.
