'Leaked' intimate clips seemed doctored: DMRC
The video clips of couples getting intimate on Delhi Metro trains and posted on pornographic sites seemed doctored and weren't captured by CCTV cameras installed on the train, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said on Tuesday.
The security cell of DMRC said it conducted a probe and found that the video clips in were not captured by CCTV cameras installed on the train as the cameras remained focused on the couple in the clips and did not pan, tilt or zoom as they should have.
A senior official from the security cell, said, ""Four CCTV cameras are installed inside a coach and these together covers at least 90% area. These cannot focus on a particular corner or area or persons for more than a few seconds."
The confirmation came after a number of publications reported that video clips of couples getting intimate were captured by cameras on DMRC trains and posted on pornographic sites.
DMRC chief spokesperson Anuj Dayal said that it has sent the clips to cyber crime cell of Delhi police for investigation, and that it has sought help from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to expose the reality.
Dayal also assured that if any DMRC would not spare any officials found guilty in the case.
