Kingfisher Airlines employees to stage protest at Formula One

Kingfisher Airlines employees to stage protest at Formula One Employees of beleaguered Kingfisher Airlines have decided to stage protests during the imminent Formula One motor race, in which Kingfisher-owner Vijay Mallya is involved.

The Indian Grand Prix Formula One motor show will take place at Greater Noida from 27th of October.

The plans to stage protests during the Formula One motor race was announced after Kingfisher employees turned down the management's newest offer to pay three months' salary. Kingfisher Chief Executive Sanjay Aggarwal recently also promised that the company would pay full October salary to all employees.

But, employees are seeing the offer as a ply to smash the agitation.

Kingfisher employee Subhash Chandra Mishra, who is leading the protest, said, "Mallya would not like to see any disruption by the agitating employees during the Indian Grand Prix (Formula 1) event at Greater Noida from October 27 and this is the reason why they are making such offers."

Employees of the carrier have not received salaries for more than months.

Kingfisher Airlines has not been operating flights since the end of September. Aviation regulator DGCA recently suspended its flying license.
