Alitalia S.P.A will extend its partnership with Air France KLM Group and Delta Air Lines Inc. It has declared that it will share the transatlantic venture and expenses to increase the revenue. The agreement among the airlines has been signed and all of them are ready for this joint venture.

It has also been informed that all of those who are members of the sky team alliance could gain Alitalia’s pre-tax income by about 50 million Euros yearly in two or three years. The Chief Executive Rocco Sabelli has informed this at a news meeting in Rome today.

The profit will come initially from closer ties with Delta. He has also said that such deal will permit them to sustain in such a critical situation. It will provide good revenue option and help them to invest in the long term.

However, the contract will cover 250 flights a day and 500 destinations in Europe and North America.

In an announcement the firm has said that the enterprise will represent about 10 million dollar in sales and 26% of all its transatlantic flights.
