Italian police arrest 'Ndrangheta mob boss of San Luca
Reggio Calabria, Italy - Italian police reported the arrest of one of the nation's most wanted mob members Friday.
Antonio Pelle, 77, has been on the list of Italy's 30 most wanted and most dangerous mafia members since 2000. He is best known as the chief of the 'Ndrangheta syndicate's operations in the southern town of San Luca.
Police arrested Pelle as he awaited surgery for hernia at a hospital in Reggio Calabria. He continues to receive medical care.(dpa)
