Islamabad would be in our hands soon: Taliban

Islamabad would be in our hands soon: TalibanIslamabad, Apr. 9 : After establishing their writ over the Swat Valley, the Taliban is looking to take Islamabad under its grip.

According to The Nation, a Taliban commander has warned that the outfit would take their war to the capital city to retaliate against the continuous US drone strikes against them.

"The day is not far when Islamabad will be in the hands of the Mujahideen," Taliban commander Mullah Nazeer Ahmed said.

Ahmed charged the Pakistan Government of providing secret information to the US about their movements to facilitate the missile hits.

"All these attacks that have happened and are still happening are the work of Pakistan," he said.

Ahmed also blamed the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) for conspiring against the Taliban and dividing its factions.

He termed the ISI as the Taliban's `main enemy'.

The accusations against the ISI by the outlawed outfit are particularly significant as the investigative agency, in recent past, has been blamed for providing tactical support to the Taliban. (ANI)
