Invensys enters into an agreement with CPGL
Texas-headquartered Invensys Operations Management has revealed that it has inked a "multi-million dollar" agreement with Tata Power arm Coastal Gujarat Power Limted (CPGL).
The company has entered into the deal with the aim to offer end-to-end solutions for its upcoming 4,000 MW Ultra Mega Power Project in Gujarat.
The sources informed that the deal would assist CPGL, which is executing Power Project in Gujarat, to fully optimise the facility, which is expected to be operational by fiscal 2013.
CGPL was established on February 10, 2006, as a special purpose vehicle (SPV) to carry out the Mundra Ultra Mega Power Project.
Invensys Operations Management is an arm of London-headquartered Invensys plc.
