Infiniti M35h enter Guinness as the fastest full hybrid car The eco friendly Infiniti M35h has entered the Guinness World record book as the fastest accelerating full hybrid car after participating in a quarter mile run at the UK's Santa Pod drag strip.

In the run, the M35h attained a speed of 100mph from zero in an average of 13.9031 seconds, making it equal to models from Laborghini, Porsche, Ferrari, and Aston Martin. This car's performance is even more impressive given its low carbon dioxide emission emissions of 162g/km and relatively a decent fuel consumption rate of 40.4mpg.

The company claims that the petrol/electric hybrid engine offers 364PS of overall output power. The car was driven by journalist Tim Pollard, who said that the model proves that hybrid cars can be fast and economical at the same time.

The UK orders for the model will open with the coming weeks and the model will be launched in other European markets soon.
