Indian national in Malaysia dies in tiff with housemate

Malaysia flagKuala Lumpur, Mar. 17 : An Indian national, M. Mangalam, has died after engaging in an argument with two other housemates.

Mangalam was stabbed to death in his 13th floor apartment in Damansara on Sunday.

It is learnt that Mangalam and four other Indian nationals, all in their 20s, rented two bedrooms in the unit.

According to The Star, an argument had ensued between Mangalam, who worked as a maintenance worker at a nearby shopping complex, and the others that led to a fight in which Mangalam was stabbed and another injured.

A security guard, who went to the apartment upon hearing the commotion, found the body and called the police.

The injured man was taken to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL), while the two other men staying in the apartment were detained for questioning. (ANI)
