Indian market to get new Hyundai Verna Transform - very soon
Hyundai, a South Korean company announced the launch of its new Verna Transform on June 25th, 2010 in India. The car is all set go with its change interiors and exteriors.
It is expected that the new version of Verna has to face hard-hitting competition with the overcrowded car brands in India namely, Honda City, Maruti SX4, Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen, who is all set to launch its Vento. The car will be available in Indian market at a price of Rs7-9 lac.
Hyundai is considered as one of the top three auto sellers in the country, so holding this position, company is quite confident to launch its new transform Verna in the Indian market and looking forward for a huge response. Company has already received immense appreciation in South Korea for this car and expecting the alike to be repeated in India also.
The developments done in Verna include refurbishment of its front as it was the most problematic area of this car. It is anticipated that car includes new bumpers, side mirror repeaters, radiator grill and all new headlamps.
The company has also put their efforts to create the new Verna to be more fuel efficient. Talking about its interiors, its dash board lamp light is less power consuming eco friendly, it is equipped with MP3 player, a USB port and iPod connectivity. Green light of illuminated panel is replaced with blue lighting and the car will have radio, speedo and Tacho dials this time.
Hyundai has not made any alterations in the engine and new Verna also comprises of both 1.6L petrol and 1.5 L CDRI units. The car gives an average of 12-14 Kmpl when run on petrol while when car runs on CDRI edition; its fuel efficiency turns out to be 18-20 Kmpl. The petrol engine makes 104 PS @5500rpm and CDRI makes 110PS @4000rpm.
