Five Grammy awards winner, the acclaimed singer, who has to her credit more than 200 million sale records, revealed she cried rivers over each unsuccessful bid to have a second child through IVF.

The Daily Express quoted her as saying, that you do everything right and you are careful and you rest and then... the disappointment hits you like a wave. But I swear, I’ll keep trying until it works.

The 41-year-old star confessed resorting to the grueling process of preparing her body for a fifth IVF attempt, which included wearing oestrogen patches, having blood tests every other day, undergoing ultrasound scans and having daily hormone injections.

“I give the shots to myself. My thighs are bruised and numb and full of lumps from the long needles that go deep into the muscle. I don’t want people saying, Oh, poor Celine, but it does take a lot out of me,” she said.

But the My Heart Will Go On hitmaker and her husband and manager Rene Angelil, 68, were determined to keep going.

“I feel more than blessed to have a son and I think a voice inside of me kept repeating, “No more pressure, no more pressure” after the last result. But I’m thrilled now that Rene wants to keep going. I do too and, I swear, I’ll keep trying until it works,” she further added. (With Input from Agencies)
