The Korean leading automobile maker Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has announced that it will launch one of its most popular brand ‘Santa Fe’ in the Indian market in near future. ‘Santa Fe’ is the popular sports utility vehicle of Korea under Hyundai.

The sports car was introduced to the market in the year 2001 and it was the first car from Hyundai in SUV segment. It has been expected that the company will introduce it to this market as a completely built unit (CBU) this year. The company has some other popular brands operative in India too.

Hyundai i10, i20, Santro, Santro Zing are also exists in the market. Managing Director of Hyundai, Hang-Woo Park has informed that Santa Fe SUV will be in India this year only. Initially, it will be a built unit but in next two years time it will focus on manufacturing and a complete knocked down unit.

HMIL Marketing and Sales Vice president Arvind Saxena has revealed that Santa Fe is altogether a new entrant to the market and it wont be competing with the existing SUV from the same company‘ Tucson’.
