The Indian subsidiary of the Korean automaker, Hyundai Motors has recently announced that the company will be launching its SUV Santa Fe in the Indian market by the month of October this year.

Senior director of the company, Y K Koo recently said that the Santa Fe may well be launched in the second half of the year i.e. may be around the month of October. Koo also pointed out the fact that its price can be in the range of Rs 20 lakh to Rs 22 lakh, which will be very competitive in its segment.

It is to be mentioned here that earlier attempts by the company to make its presence felt through Tucson and Terracan hasn’t been very successful in the Indian market.

Moreover, with products like Fortuner, CR-V today in the Indian market, the Santa Fe will surely have to get all its things right in order to get the consumer mind space. The company has also launched the Verna Transform in the Indian market very recently with a view to boost its sales in the A3 segment.

Currently, the company offers products like Verna and Accent in the A3 segment.
