“Healthy” Chocolate Bar Contains Water, Not Fat!

“Healthy” Chocolate Bar Contains Water, Not Fat!Researchers have produced a "healthy" chocolate in which fat has been substituted with water.

The low-calorie chocolate tastes the same as regular bars.

In addition to chocolates, researchers are also creating a low-fat mayo and porridge that stops people from feeling hungry by staying in their belly for long.

University of Birmingham researchers claimed that they could put back a normal chocolate bar's fat molecules with low-cal substances including water, air or gels.

The group developed the "water-chocolate" by then linking water particles with cocoa butter crystals.

The bar, which contains two third of water, has the same flavor, smell and feel in a one's mouth.

Lead researcher Dr. Philip Cox said, "It is possible that small, stable, air bubbles designed to resemble oil droplets in terms of their size and physical properties could be used to produce a new generation of low fat foods." (With Input from Agencies)
