HCL Technologies has signed an agreement lasting for five years for providing IT infrastructure management services with Electrolux.

Electrolux has emerged as a major player in the home appliance sector in the country. The agreement between the two companies cover monitoring and management of network, servers, IT security and end-user computing.

The agreement will cover Electrolux facilities in 12 countries in Asia-Pacific region, including Australia. The companies did not disclose the financial details of the deal.

The shares of HCL were trading 1.15% higher at Rs 365 at 11:30 hrs after an intraday high of Rs 372 and an intraday low of Rs 363.60. The shares closed on Friday up 0.25% or Rs 0.90 at Rs 361.65.

HCL shares have gained nearly 230 per cent over the last one year from a low of Rs 109 to Rs 365.
