Both the governments of UK and US have made it very clear that any of the bilateral ties will not be affected because of the ongoing disaster at the Gulf of Mexico.

The BP oil spill has been created huge lot of issue and tension in between two countries. The prime minister of Britain Mr. David Cameron has planned to discuss this matter with US President Mr. Barack Obama in this weekend. He has also informed that UK is always there to help in such a despondent condition.

The US state department has also agreed that the oil spill is not a matter of tension between two countries as it was a technical problem and it will be cleared by the company involved with it.

All these comments came out after President's heavy criticism over the oil giant BP.

The government administration has been applying more and more pressure on the firm BP with the orders from the US justice department to ensure BP will pay all the expenses caused by this spill and compensation to that affected people.
