Google launches Nexus 7 online for Indian customersInternet giant, Google has launched its new Google Nexus 7 tablet computer on Google Play store for its consumers in the Indian market.

The Google Nexus 7 with a storage capacity of 16 GB is now available online for Rs 15,999. The company said that the shipment of the tablet will begin from 5 April. At present, the company is only offering WiFi only 16 GB version online for the Indian customers and it might add more versions to the list available for the Indian buyers in the coming future. Many believe that the company might launch 32 GB and 3G versions of the popular tablet this year in the country.

Nexus 7 has a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and is powered by a quad-core processor. It runs on Google's Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) that is upgradable to Android 4.2 and has a 4325 mAH that offers 8 hours of active use. It lacks a rear camera but has a 1.2MP camera in the front that can be used to make video calls. The tablet model that will be available in Indian will only feature Wi-Fi connectivity.
