Global Vectra to pump $130 million in next two years

Global Vectra HelicoptersGlobal Vectra Helicopters, part of the $800-million Vectra Group, is presently looking at the option to make an investment of $130 million over the next two years to enhance its fleet size as well as consolidate its operations.

Moreover, the company is also looking at the possible option to raise funds, which it will use to increase its fleet strength by 14 helicopters to 45 in two years.

The company intends to focus more on off-shore activities which are basically non-oil and gas.

Global Vectra Helicorp Limited engages in helicopter charter services for offshore transportation servicing the oil and gas exploration and production sector in India. The firm has operations on both east and west coasts with clients such as Reliance, British Gas, Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation and ONGC.

At 12:30 pm, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 28.75, marginally up compared to its previous close. The scrip has made 52-week-high and low of Rs 108 and Rs 22 respectively.
