Sankt Augustin, Germany - A girl was stabbed, apparently by a masked attacker, at a school near the German city of Bonn on Monday.

Police said they had teams at the scene looking for the assailant.

A police spokeswoman said the gender of the attacker, who was armed with several knives, was not yet known. Classes had been under way atthe secondary school in the town of Sankt Augustin at the time. The injured girl has been taken to a nearby hospital. (dpa)
