Recently, the upgrades for Photoshop Lightroom and the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in were released by Adobe. As of now, both of these upgrades are available as free upgrades for Lightroom 2 and Photoshop CS4 users. 

These releases offer added raw file support for 15 digital cameras that include names like the Nikon D90, Nikon D700, Canon EOS 50D and Canon EOS 1000D. 

The nun who was raped by a rampaging mob in Kandhamal district of Orissa on August 25 finally broke her silence. On Friday she accused the Orissa police of completely failing to protect her and demanded that the case be transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation. 

Her face covered, Sister Meena Lalita Barwa made a statement at a press conference under the auspices of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India. 

Cricketer Harbhajan Singh displayed his disapproval of Gilchrist’s comment on Sachin by lashing out at him in media.

George W. Bush continues to be poked fun at; as last nights' Saturday Night Live (SNL) mocked the way the Republican Party kept Bush far away from the McCain / Palin presidential campaign. 
  
Will Ferrell playing Bush opened the skit by endorsing Sarah Palin and John McCain, though only Palin played by Tina Fey could be found. A Palin look alike Fey admits to being busy 'traveling around this great country' and 'doing a little shopping', though her running mate McCain went missing, soon after hearing Bush's endorsement of the pair, 'last seen traveling on foot through the Adirondacks'. 
  

New York prosecutors are investigating allegations made by Michael Mineo, 24, of Brooklyn that last week, he was beaten and sodomised by police officers in a Brooklyn subway station. 
  
According to Kevin Mosley, his lawyer, on the afternoon of 15th October 2008, several uniformed police officers approached Mineo near Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, who they suspected was smoking marijuana. Forcing him to the ground and handcuffing him, they pulled his pants down and shoved something forcibly into his rectum. Issuing him a summons for disorderly conduct, the police left him writhing in pain.
