SBI MF introduces ‘Debt Fund Series-90 Day Fund-31’; NFO opens on October 31st

SBI Mutual FundSBI Mutual Fund (SBI MF), one of the largest mutual funds in the country has introduced ‘SBI Debt Fund Series -90 Days Fund-31’ in Indian market.

The fund is a close ended equity scheme with primary objective to provide regular income, liquidity and returns to the investors through investments in a portfolio comprising debt instruments such as government securities, AAA/AA+ bonds and money market instruments.

The fund is open for subscription from October 31, 2008 till November 3, 2008.

The Scheme will offer Growth Option and Dividend Option.

Amitabh Tiwari, Head of Electronics Department, LG Electronics India said,, “We have decided to hike prices from November 1 ranging from up to 5 per cent across almost all product categories, as we are unable to take further hits on account of rupee depreciation.”

Hero Honda inks partnership deal with Andhra Bank

Hero Honda MotorsHero Honda Motors, the country's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has signed an agreement with Andhra Bank to offer financing support for buyers of their products.

Hero Honda and Andhra Bank have teamed up to support two-wheeler buyers, including in the rural parts of the State.

The company claims that buyers can avail themselves of loan up to 90 per cent of the road price of the vehicles. The tie-up is particularly aimed at those in the farm sector, salaried employees and institutional customers.
