Malaysian tomboys say fatwa won’t affect their lifestyle

Kuala Lumpur, Nov 10 : Tomboys in Malaysia have denounced the fatwa forbidding their tomboyish behaviour, insisting that it will not change their lifestyle.

Malaysia’s top Islamic body had issued an edict by the National Fatwa Council banning tomboys, saying that girls who act unlady-like violate the tenets of Islam.

An increasing number of Malaysian girls behave like tomboys, and some of them engage in homosexuality.

Under the edict girls cannot sport short hair and dress, walk and act like boys.

A tomboy named Win sneered away from the edict, and said that it would not affect their lifestyle.

Sean Combs’ hysteria at designer’s birthday design

New York, Nov 10 : A young designer found himself in a nightmare when American rapper Sean Combs’ became hysterical after seeing the decorations for his birthday.

The Mansion, a Chelsea hot spot, was the venue for the birthday and the designer had been given 12 hours to decorate it.

“He was given a budget of 7,000 dollars and 12 hours to create an all-white décor, including 1,000 white roses, blow-ups of Diddy and Barack Obama, and 2,000 dollars of white fabric,” the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

“Diddy declared it dreadful and went into a major hissy fit, screaming, ‘Show me the receipts!’ and ‘Get the money back!’ to his assistant.

Jason Donovan snubs Kylie Minogue by not inviting her to wedding

Donovan had exchanged vows with long-term partner Angela Mallock in a small bash in Bali five months ago, and intends to make it official in a larger ceremony in London in January.

“Angela and I are married but it''s not really official. It soon will be though,” the Sun quoted him as saying.

Breast CancerWashington, Nov 10 : Young women who survive breast cancer often face problems related with sexual intimacy in their relationships, and prefer using sexual enhancement products to combat them, according to an Indiana University study.

Titled "Young Female Breast Cancer Survivors: Their sexual function and interest in sexual enhancement products and services," the study was led by Debby Herbenick, associate director of the Center for Sexual Health Promotion at IU Bloomington''s School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation.
