DFB not amused about double yellow card incident

Hamburg - The fans loved it, some of the players as well, but the ruling German football body DFB was not amused about a referee showing two yellow cards simultaneously during a second division match on the weekend.

On Sunday, referee Thomas Metzen dug deep into his shirt pockets and threw up his hands with a yellow card in each one to book Mainz 05 player Miroslav Karhan und St Pauli Hamburg's Florian Bruns.

News reports on Tuesday said that Metzen has received a warning from the DFB and was told never to do this again. He reportedly escaped further sanctions and told the Bild daily that "it was a mistake."

Rauf’s family believes he didn’t die in US attack

Islamabad, Nov 25 : Rashid Rauf, the British terror suspect who Pakistan intelligence sleuths claimed died in an air raid in Pakistan’s tribal areas last week, was not killed in the attack, claims his family.

Their claim is based on the fact that his dead body has not been handed over to them yet, and that the concerned authorities were also not responding to their questions.

Speaking through Rauf''s lawyer Hashmat Malik, the family of Rauf''s wife (in Pakistan) said that he was not killed in the attack. “It''s all a concocted story. We''re sure that it is not Rashid Rauf,” The Guardian quoted the lawyer as saying.
