Melbourne, Dec 8 : Actors playing Jack Sparrow from ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ in Disneyland have been sacked because of women flashing their boobs at the "sexy pirate".

According to Ktla. com, Disneyland officials have fired the four actors, following worries that young women were flashing the swashbuckling actors late at night.

"They lost control when they saw Jack Sparrow," the Daily Telegraph quoted former pirate Brandon Pinto, who left the role after a dispute with management a year ago as saying.

London, Dec 8 : Japanese video games company Nintendo is signing a deal with publisher HarperCollins to make literary classics available to read on its DS portable games consoles.

The deal has been made on the 100 Classic Book Collection, which ranges from Shakespeare and Dickens to Jane Austen and the Brontë sisters, priced at 20 pounds and will initially be available only in Britain.

The technology allows readers to turn the pages by brushing a finger across the screen, doing away with books.

New Delhi, Dec 8 : As counting continues progress in five states, the Congress is set to gain power in Rajasthan, Delhi and Mizoram while it is in a neck-and-neck race with the BJP in Chhattisgarh.

The only consolation for the BJP appears to be coming from Madhya Pradesh where it has established a clear lead over Congress and is on the way to retaining power. In the 230-member assembly, BJP was ahead in 120 seats and the Congress in 70. Others account for 30.

London, Dec 8 : Hollywood actress Dame Judi Dench was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 21st annual European film awards in Copenhagen.

According to the Guardian, the European film industry honored the actress for “her outstanding body of work.”

Born in Yorkshire, the beauty was delighted to receive the award and revealed that she had never visited Denmark before, but added: "This is a surprise because I have some Danish blood in my ancestry.”

London, Dec 8 : A new research has found that Blackbeard, one of the most feared pirates in history, may be innocent of one of the most notorious charges against him, namely, sinking his ship to swindle his crew in 1718.

For almost 300 years, the British pirate captain has stood accused of deliberately sinking his flagship, Queen Anne’s Revenge, so he could swindle his crew out of their share of loot they had plundered.
