Zhang, a resident of the city''s Longgang district, had to field calls coming in from people seeking condoms and other sexual paraphernalia as late as midnight since February last year, reports the China Daily.

He even lost his wife after a call from a woman seeking adult products convinced her he was having an affair.

London, Dec 11 : A new type of slang, dubbed the ''tech slang'', is making its way into people''s inboxes, as more people are using technology driven terms in messages, according to a new study.

So, from now on, if you read "404" in your mobile inbox, it will mean "clueless," inspired by the error message given when a browser cannot find a webpage.

According to slang lexicographer Jonathon Green, some such terms and abbreviations have evolved as a result of the limited speed and space afforded by text messaging.

However, an Australian study found that reading "textese" takes more time and results in more mistakes.

Speaking at the National convention on Right to Education and abolition of Child Labour organized by National Child Rights Commission in collaboration with UNICEF here, Chowdhury said the proposed logo would give competitive advantage to Indian industry at international level.

Nigella Lawson’s comment on wearing a bear’s skin enrages anti-fur campaigners

London, Dec 11 : English food writer Nigella Lawson has enraged anti-fur campaigners on December 10 after she commented that she would kill a bear and wear its skin as a “trophy”.

Lawson spoke on The One Show on BBC1, where she stated that buying a fur coat would be “an act of weakness”, though she would not mind wearing one if she killed the bear herself.

The animal rights groups have branded the TV chef’s comment as “sick” and said she was effectively endorsing the hunting of endangered animals.

Some warned that the Domestic Goddess would now be seen as “a legitimate target” for activists who have already splashed red paint on fur-wearing celebrities.
