New Delhi, Jan 12 : Afghan President Hamid Karzai will meet Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh here today and hold discussion on the latest developments related to the terror strikes.

President Karzai arrived here on a two-day visit last evening against the backdrop of chill in Indo-Pak relations.

The Prime Minister is expected to share evidence about involvement of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and other Pakistan-based elements in the Mumbai attacks.

According to sources, the two leaders will hold discussion on bilateral cooperation to defeat terrorism.

London, January 12: Scientists at the University of California, Berkeley, have announced the discovery of an enzyme that plays a very important role in controlling the breakdown of fat.
The researchers said that in a study conducted by them, mice that had this enzyme disabled remained lean despite eating a high-fat diet, and losing a hormone that suppresses appetite.

Hong Kong  - A Hong Kong driving instructor has been arrested for allegedly swapping seats with a woman pupil who knocked down a schoolboy on a pedestrian crossing, police said Monday.

The 69-year-old instructor allegedly told police he was the driver after the accident which left the schoolboy seriously injured, a police spokesman said.

The accident took place on Sunday in Hong Kong's Kwai Chung district in an area where learner drivers are not allowed to drive, according to police.

Multi-talented actor Akshay Kumar has topped the list of income tax payers in the Bollywood industry.

Akki, who has pushed King Khan to the No. 2 position, paid Rs 19 crore in taxes, and turned the highest taxpayer in the country this year.

On the other hand, Shahrukh Khan has paid around Rs 15 crore in income tax.

On the celebrity tax payer list, the third position goes to Hrithik Roshan with a payment of Rs 8 crore, while Aamir Khan is on fourth place, who paid Rs 7 crore as income tax.
