The England striker scored in Manchester United's 3-0 win over Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday, The Sun reported.

They are now favourites to win the title and will overtake both Chelsea and Liverpool by Saturday night if they beat Wigan at home on Wednesday and then pick up another three points at Bolton on Saturday.

But he could not promise that it would be done quickly.

Obama, who has been receiving daily national security briefings since his election in November, acknowledged that his campaign pledge to close the prison at Guantanamo Bay would be more of a challenge than he anticipated.

Geri, who recently spent a romantic Christmas in Dubai with House, reportedly spent an hour just gazing at potential male wedding bands at a jeweler's in London's diamond district, Hatton Garden.

"Geri was certainly taking her time over it," the Sun quoted a fellow-shopper, as saying.

Brit cop compiles guide to teach colleagues how to spell

London, Jan 12 : A police superintendent has complied a new guide that will teach Brit cops how to spell, after being fed up with the clangers in crime reports.

Superintendent Gary Knighton has compiled a booklet for 2,000 officers who struggle to spell even the simple words.

It explains that someone who provides information is a source - not a sauce.

For those uncertain about how many `c's and `s's are there in "necessary", the booklet asks to remember that shirts have one collar and two sleeves.

The booklet also explains the differences between "two" and "too", "threw" and "through" and "weather" and "whether".

Credit Crunch sparks ‘price war’ amongst prostitutes in Kuala Lumpur

Malaysia FlagKuala Lumpur, January 12 : The current credit crunch has apparently sparked a "price war" amongst prostitution syndicates after many decided to offer "crazy" discounts in Kuala Lumpur.

According to Harian Metro, women were being offered at heavy discounts for the "crazy promotion for massage and services".

The tabloid alleged to have received "crazy promotion" pamphlets from groups operating from spas, offering as much as 40 percent discount.

A 45-minute session was being offered for about RM158 to RM188, as compared to the previous price bracket of RM200 to RM250.

Cancer-stricken Jade Goody upset as she’ll never have daughter

London, Jan 12 : Jade Goody has said that because of her cancer surgery, she will never have the daughter she always longed for.

The former Big Brother star's two sons mean everything to her, yet she always hoped to give them a little sister and make the family complete.

However, because of her disease, Goody can't have any more kids.

"Knowing I'll never have another baby is heartbreaking. I'm a young woman and I've got two boys who I idolise but I would have loved a little girl," the Mirror quoted Goody, as saying.

"I'd always felt there was a girl inside me desperately wanting to live because I never got the chance to be a child myself," she added.
