In Varanasi, a huge procession was taken out in which thousands of devotees took part. They danced on the streets to the tunes of traditional drums.

The procession, which began nine days ago, concluded on Thursday. The purpose of the procession was to spread the message of anti-terrorism among the people.

Chicago, April 9 : The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the U. S. has warned people to beware of an Internet scheme claiming the recipients had the chance to win a million dollars by entering a contest sponsored by The Oprah Winfrey Show.

The investigators have revealed that a spam e-mail titled `Oprah Millionaire Contest Show' has been making rounds, saying that the recipient must pay to be on the show.

Washington, April 9 : In a new research, scientists have suggested that the large-amplitude signals from volcanic eruptions are similar to the noise produced by typical jet engines.

The research was done by scientists from Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC (University of California) San Diego.

The research team speeded up the recorded sounds from two volcanoes and uncovered a noise very similar to typical jet engines.
