Washington, Nov 3 : Hollywood actor Will Smith is keen on trying his luck in a Bollywood flick and has been taking advice from ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ director Danny Boyle.

Boyle’s latest project has been shot in Indian city Mumbai and the director is convinced that Smith is determined about trying different genre of pictures - because the ‘Independence Day’ star made several trips to visit him onset.

The Aussie singer rose to fame in Australian day-time soap opera ‘Neighbours’ and has returned to her thespian roots several times throughout her career, with a cameo role in 2001''s ‘Moulin Rouge!’ and on the small screen in a ‘Dr. Who’ Christmas special last year.

Washington, Nov 3 : Simon Cowell''s mother holds him responsible for the breakdown of his relationship with long-term girlfriend Terri Seymour - and is urging the pair to give their romance another chance.

Seymour, who dated the Cowell for more than six years, is alleged to have dumped him two months ago over his refusal to marry and settle down.

And now the American Idol judge''s mum Julie is hoping that Cowell and Seymour will get back together.

The Irish actor, who lay the blame on drink, drugs and excess partying for his riotous way of life, said that his life was now much better without them, reports the Sun.

“There are probably more moments in my life that I can''t remember than when I can,” British tabloid The Sun quoted him as saying.

“The last ten years are pretty sketchy. But as soon as I gave up certain things and put them to one side in my life then everything became a lot clearer,” the 32-year-old added.

Bodh Gaya (Bihar), Nov 3 : Monks from Thailand offered prayers for world peace and sculpted out an idol of Lord Buddha in Bodh Gaya on Sunday.

The 33-member delegation offered prayers for the well being of the people of the entire world.

"We have come from Thailand to build Lord’s Buddha idol," said Payap Shinawatra, a monk from Thailand.

Later, the monks got together and worked continuously for 12 hours to sculpt out a statue of Lord Buddha.
