‘Sex and the City’ sequel ‘to be filmed in New Zealand’Wellington, Dec 12 : ''Sex and the City'' star Cynthia Nixon has said that the sequel to the movie could be filmed in New Zealand.

While at the Muse Awards luncheon in New York, Nixon, who plays lawyer Miranda Hobbes in the hit TV show-turned-film-franchise, told reporters that part or all of Sex and the City 2 could be filmed in New Zealand.

However, she downplayed reports that filming could begin early next year, saying fans could be in for a long wait.

Perth’s new arts centre snubs Heath Ledger’s name

Melbourne, Dec 12 : The new arts centre in Perth, which had been promised to be named after late Aussie actor Heath Ledger, will no longer be named after him.

According to Culture and Arts Minister John Day, the centre in Northbridge will now be called the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia, with a theatre within it named after Ledger, reports PerthNow.

Former premier Alan Carpenter had announced Ledger's name at the theatre construction site less than six months ago, with the late actor's father, Kim Ledger, standing by his side.

Lucasfilm has authorised ‘Star Wars: A Musical Journey’, which is a retelling of the story with excerpts of the film combined with live orchestral accompaniment.

According to producers for the show, which is premiering in Britain, though actors will be used to narrate the story, it will definitely not be a stage musical.

With Mika churning out his best numbers one after another, the crowd went mad. Children, teenagers along with not so young couples, all were seen dancing, shaking legs to the songs.

Demand of `once more' arose from the crowd at regular intervals and Mika obliged. Super hit song such as Mauja hi Mauja, Aye Ganpat, Sawan mein lag gayi aag, you name them and the ever energetic Mika had those ready.

The couple's representative announced that Tameka Raymond and the newborn Naviyd Ely Raymond are perfectly fine and healthy.

"Usher and Tameka Raymond welcomed their second son, Naviyd Ely Raymond, on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2:33 a. m. weighing 5 lbs., 13 oz.," People magazine quoted the rep, as saying.

"Tameka and the baby are doing fine," the rep added.
