Washington, Dec 17 : `X Factor' boss Simon Cowell is more popular than God and Queen Elizabeth II, says a new British survey, which asked more than 1,000 kids.

The kids, which were under the age of 10, were asked to name the individual they considered the biggest celebrity.

And the music mogul landed the top spot, reports Contactmusic.

Cowell rose from fifth place in last year''s survey, beating the monarch from the top spot.

God was in second place.

Los Angeles  - Some of Hollywood's most famous actors have appealed to their colleagues to reject a call from union officials to authorize a strike action that could paralyze movie and film production in the entertainment mecca starting next month.

The strike ballots will be sent out at the start of January by the Screen Actors Guild, which needs 75 per cent of members to approve the measure in order to be able to call the strike.

The actors have been working without a contract since June, and are pressing for increased payments for work distributed over the internet and better benefits.

Washington, Dec 16 : American singer Aubrey O'Day has finally come out about being a lesbian, according to reports.

O'Day was at the Zen Green Tea Liqueur launch in Hollywood on December 10, where she is said to have been accompanied by her girlfriend.

"That's right," Fox News quoted a source as saying.

"Aubrey is out and proud," the source added.

Another source revealed that O'Day was heard happily telling pals about her new girl-on-girl romance.

Washington, Dec 16 : Even though Hugh Hefner has always been surrounded by blonde babes, his son Marston has on the other hand revealed that he has no intentions of following in his father's footsteps.

Marston, 18, revealed in the 55th Anniversary edition of Playboy Magazine that he cannot see himself as having multiple relationships or girlfriends.

"I'm not going to have multiple girlfriends- not at the same time. I can't imagine doing that," Fox News quoted him as saying.

What he and his 17-year-old brother Cooper do see though, is becoming the men's magazine's moguls.

The star and partner Schreiber welcomed their second child, a son, on Saturday - just 16 months after the pair''s first son, Alexander "Sasha" Pete.

Watts and Schreiber met on the set of the 2006 drama The Painted Veil and have been together ever since, reports Couriermail.
