Madonna''s ''Material World'' to go on display in UKLondon, February 21: Clothes that have wrapped Madonna during her 25-year-old career are set for public to view in a London exhibition.

The ''Simply Madonna: Materials From The Girl'' will feature more than 300 personal items such as clothing, photographs, props, costumes, and outfits from her major performances, concerts and films.

Opera singer Domingo wins $1m Nilsson prizeLondon, Feb 21: Spanish tenor Placido Domingo has been awarded the first ever Birgit Nilsson prize, which comes with a 1-million dollar award for outstanding contribution to the world of opera.

Nilsson, the Swedish soprano who set up the prize foundation, picked Domingo before her death in 2005, age 87.

Prize officials said on Friday that the name had been kept secret for three years after her passing at her request, reports The BBC.

As one of The Three Tenors, Domingo did much to popularise operatic singing.

Warner Bros revealed that "The Batman Begins" sequel grossed a total of 1,001,082,160 dollars till February 20 with around 533 million dollars coming from domestic markets and 567 million dollars from overseas.

The 2008 film further holds the title of being the second-highest domestic earner of all time, falling behind "Titanic", reports Variety magazine.
