Spider-Man to swing onto Broadway stageNew York  - Beloved superhero Spider-Man will spin his web on musical theatre fans on New York's Broadway beginning next year.

The musical Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark, is scheduled to open February 18, 2010, at the Hilton Theatre with previews beginning a month earlier.

U2's Bono and The Edge have written the music and lyrics for the show that is to be directed by Julie Taymor, who is known for her work with hit Disney musical The Lion King.

Mystery author pens his novel on the walls of a house

London, Feb 25 : A mystery author has done away with using pen and paper for writing his novel, and has instead decided to use the walls of a house for the purpose.

The epic thriller, which had been written in beautiful characters on the walls of an abandoned cottage, has attracted a lot of attention.

And its writer, who is believed to be a vagrant, covered every wall in the building in Chongqing, central China, with chapters from his kung fu super-hero adventure.

The story, which is entirely written in Chinese lettering and also includes illustrations, has become a massive online hit after one fan uploaded photographs of the novel on the Internet.

Brook is doing ITV comedy-drama ‘Moving Wallpaper’ with funnyman Ben Miller, and has even landed her first-ever Vogue shoot.

In an appearance on ‘This Morning’ with Ben, the actress said that she was playing herself — a B-movie actress!

No major distributors for Heath Ledger''s final film

The movie is facing a limited U. S. release, and its executives have been searching for six months for backers in America but are having difficulty finding a company to release the experimental film.

American audiences may not have easy access to the independent project, which features late actor Ledger as a travelling magician, as a result of the marketing difficulties.

The jewellery designer has even contributed to a cervical cancer fund supported by Goody.

“It’s heartbreaking, to see what she’s going through,” the Daily Express quoted the socialite as saying at a London Fashion Week MAC party at London’s Hospital club.
